My experience of caring for and developing care services for those with learning difficulties has been gained over many years.
Prior to joining Newark Mencap, I worked for Royal Mencap so understand the needs of our clients well.​
This experience is now enabling me to develop our day services further through jointly managing the service and ensuring our programmes are stimulating and fun.

I have worked in social care for over seven years and have loved every minute of it.
​I like having fun and laughing and I like to encourage people to have the confidence to participate in activities that they perhaps would not normally do. I also help manage the Gateway Tuesday club.

I am one of leaders of the Gateway Club I am passionate about creating inclusive spaces where members feel valued and supported. I enjoy helping members contribute to the planning of activities, engage fully in events and build meaningful connections with friends and staff.
I am dedicated to ensure the Gateway Club is a place of fun and friendship as well as a community for everyone to thrive.
